In 2023, Seun was recognized on a global scale as a nominee for the United Nations Top 100 Most Influential Persons of African Descent, a prestigious acknowledgment of his remarkable achievements under the age of 40. Along with other recipients, he toured the United Nations headquarters in New York.

In 2023, he received the Western Union Top 25 Canadian Immigrants Award, honouring his contributions to Canada’s diverse and thriving immigrant community.

Local Entrepreneurial Excellence

Locally, Seun’s impact was celebrated by the Saint John Chamber of Commerce in Canada, where he was honoured with the Outstanding Business Award for Emerging Entrepreneurs, recognizing his exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and achievements.

Adding to his list of accomplishments, Seun was bestowed with the BBPA Harry Jerome Award for Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Canada, a testament to his vision and leadership in the business world. A highly regarded and prestigious honour bestowed upon outstanding Black Canadians, this award, named after track and field legend Harry Jerome, stands as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the country’s Black community.

Former recipients include notable figures such as Canada’s only Black Governor General, Michaelle Jean, former undisputed boxing Champion Lennox Lewis, six-time Olympic medalist Andre De Grasse, and former NBA Champion Andrew Wiggins.

Furthermore, Seun’s dedication to entrepreneurship and community development has also earned him the RBC Most Inspiring Immigrants in Atlantic Canada Award, highlighting his role as a source of inspiration and positive change in the region.

Champion of Community Impact

Among his many community contributions, Seun’s company – Door2Door Pickup Couriers has been honoured with the Saint John Community Votes Platinum Award a perfect 7 times for Entrepreneurial Community Impact, recognizing his efforts to empower and uplift local entrepreneurs.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the community, Seun was also honoured as a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee pin by the New Brunswick Minister for SME & Immigration, former Minister Arlene Dunn, marking his commitment to service and leadership.

In previous years, Seun’s accomplishments have been recognized by various organisations and publications, including Inspiring Canadians Magazine, Innovation & Entrepreneurs Foundation, Desjardins Group, ACOA-Innovate NB, and Canada Vendors, among others.
